Services

I provide content for your interior design business. This includes the words, structure and strategy – everything that sits behind your beautiful photography. You can book one service or a full package; most designers start with a website copy refresh and add blog or SEO work once the foundations are right.

Portfolio Storytelling

It’s easy to fall into the mistake of writing project pages that read like estate agent listings, but I write them like an editor commissioning a feature. I’ll find out what the client actually asking for, what was the challenge, what decisions did you make and why, and what's the result now that someone's living in it.

This is the section of your site that turns nice photos into “I want to work with this person", and it's usually the most under-written part of a designer's website.

What's included:

  • A short interview or brief (by call or written form) per project

  • A structured project narrative – challenge, approach, result

  • Copy that targets SEO and AEO without reading like it

Best for: Designers with strong photography and thin (or missing) project descriptions.

Website Copywriting

Homepage, About, Services, Contact – the pages that make a first impression. I write copy that sounds like you, and structured the way an editor structures a piece with a clear opening, a reason to keep reading, and a natural route to enquiry. I don’t add unnecessary fillers, and I avoid clichés.

What's included:

  • Full-site copywriting or targeted page refresh

  • Structure and messaging strategy, not just sentences

  • One round of revisions built into every project

Best for: New studios building a site from scratch, or established studios whose copy hasn't kept pace with the work.

Blog and Editorial Content

A blog only earns its keep if it's actually useful – think trend pieces with a point of view, buying guides that answer real questions, before-and-afters that show your process. I write to the same standard I expected as an editor: it has to be worth someone's time, or it’s not included.

This is also where most of your long-term SEO and AEO value gets built – one well-answered client question at a time.

What's included:

  • Monthly or quarterly content calendar

  • Fully written, on-brand articles (typically 800–1,500 words)

  • Structured for search – headings, direct-answer blocks, internal linking

Best for: Designers who want to build organic visibility over time, not just a one-off copy refresh.

SEO and AEO Strategy

Search has changed and that can feel like a challenge. It's no longer just about ranking on Google, it's about getting quoted by Claude and appearing in an AI Overview. I build content structured for both: traditional SEO fundamentals, plus the direct-answer formatting and clear sourcing that answer engines actually pull from.

What's included:

  • Content SEO and AEO audit of the existing site

  • Keyword and question-mapping specific to interior design search behaviour

  • AEO-optimised content structure

Best for: Designers who are ready to be found by clients searching, not just referred by word of mouth.

How it works

Not sure where to start?

Most designers aren't sure whether they need a copy refresh, a blog strategy, or both. That's fine, and in fact, that's what the first call is for.
